Cuisinart are one of the biggest and most popular brands in the tableware industry and they also have best selling coffee machines, griddles, food processors, in fact if a piece of equipment goes in the kitchen then Cuisinart probably sell a really popular version of it!
In terms of Cuisinart tableware then their most popular items have to be the no-nonsense stainless steel sets and the bonded sets which combine layers of aluminum and stainless steel together, but they also offer a range of non stick hard anodized items as well.
The Cuisinart tableware reviews are excellent, there are one or two people who have had trouble with defective sets or people who don’t like the handles etc, but overall the reviews for these sets are excellent with the vast majority of people giving them 5 stars out of 5 and being really happy with the quality and the way they perform when you cook. So it is no wonder that Cuisinart hold the number 2 and number 3 spot at the moment in the bestsellers list on Amazon for tableware (with the number one spot held by a cheap $50 set).
As you can probably tell we are big fans of Cuisinart after we looked into getting one of their coffee makers, so let’s have a look at the two most popular sets they have on the market at the moment:
Cuisinart 77-10 Chef’s Classic Stainless-Steel 10-Piece Tableware Set
This is a set for people who just want a nice quality set of pots and pans to cook with, and don’t want to pay more than they have to.
This set is made of mostly stainless steel, although the base does have an aluminum core in it to help it heat up evenly. The difference between this and the more expensive version below is that the Multiclad set has aluminum all around the pan, in the base and the sidewalls, this set just has it in the base.
You get 10 pieces with this set, so you get everything from below apart from the steamer and extra lid, which means you get two saucepans, a saute pan, a large cooking pot and two skillets. The reviews for it are fantastic with nearly 300 people giving it 5 stars out of 5 just like the set below, the difference though is that this set is nearly $100 cheaper than the Multiclad set below. At just $120 for a high quality 10 piece tableware set then this is incredible value for money!
Cuisinart MCP-12 MultiClad Pro 12-Piece Tableware Set
This set uses multiple layers of metal to give you better performance. It has an aluminum core in the base and up the sides to help the pans heat up quickly and evenly without hot and cold spots, and then it has a stainless steel interior and exterior for durability, ease of cleaning and to stop the aluminum from tainting the food in any way.
It is a 12 piece set which gives you 2 saucepans with lids, two skillets, one saute pan, one large cooking pot, and then finally a steamer insert for the large cooking pot and a separate lid for that too, so you can steam things in the pot rather than boiling them (makes vegetables lovely and crisp!).
This set looks lovely, is well made and is both dishwasher and oven safe. The reviews for it on Amazon.com are excellent with nearly 300 people giving it full marks. It is more expensive than the plain stainless steel set from Cuisinart, but the difference in performance is well worth it if you love to cook.
